Dr. Leonard Kibuule, MD, FAAOS is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the treatment of complex spinal conditions. He has specific expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult scoliosis, spinal deformities, and motion-preserving procedures.
Dr. Kibuule has been actively involved in spine research, contributing to publications, book chapters, and presentations on topics including adolescent low back pain, lumbar stenosis, and cervical disc replacement. He has shared his work through leading institutions and professional organizations such as the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
With a background in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Kibuule has also helped advance spinal technology, collaborating on the development of innovative surgical tools and robotic-assisted techniques. He is passionate about surgeon education and regularly trains physicians nationwide in modern, minimally invasive approaches.
