Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Mark “Tag” Filley
Dr. Mark “Tag” Filley provides patients that have been traumatically injured with comprehensive spine, joint, and pain management care. He utilizes a broad range of pain management techniques including epidural steroid injections (ESI), lumbar and cervical facet block, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and SI joint injections, carefully matching each treatment to the specific needs of each patient.
A Houston native and graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Filley received his MD degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He trained at the Texas Brain and Spine Institute in Plano and the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. His post-graduate education also includes training with renowned endoscopic spine experts in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Filley is a member of the Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
In his downtime, Dr. Filley enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is active in his church and enjoys camping, scouting and sports.
