What Dr. Mantena will cover:

In this video Dr. Mantena will review how an Epidural Steroid Injection (ESI) works.  He will demonstrate how a fluoroscope is used to guide the needle leading to precise placement of the medication into the epidural space.  He discusses the differences between and ESI during pregnancy and one being performed for the pain related to a disc herniation.  Finally, he will also educate you on the value of ESI in a medically co-managed approach for treatment of disc herniation.

The goal of this video is to educate you on ESI as a treatment option and understand how it works.
